Do I need to use a solvent or glue with BarbLock®?

No. BarbLock® is designed for the biopharmaceutical industry: no glue and no adhesive tape. Assembly is performed mechanically by compressing the tubing between the barb and the outer ring, ensuring a strong connection of the hose to the component and full compliance with USP VI requirements.

Why choose a BarbLock® fitting rather than a conventional collar?

The BarbLock® system provides full 360° tubing compression. Its exclusive design (radial crimping and circular compression) eliminates any hose distortion and requires no adhesive.
